This is a Kenwood TM-742D 144/430MHz 25/35W unit. The 430MHz is not the original 25W, but a high power 35W unit is attached. It can be a triple-band unit by adding another band unit. This is a receiver frequency extension product. The only accessory is a hand microphone. Cross-band repeater has been modified and DTSS is standard. Memory is 400 channels with 200 channels per band. Lithium battery, electrolytic capacitor in the panel, and backlight have been replaced. The backlight has been replaced with LED, so it generates less heat and is easier to see. There are no problems with transmission/reception and frequency misalignment. Power is adjusted to 25W for 144MHz and 35W for 430MHz. The main unit and panel can be used separately by separately preparing a long cable. Also, if another long cable is available, the front panel can be divided into upper and lower sections. The display and control panel can be placed in different locations. The panel has been disassembled and cleaned, but there are some scratches.
