Many of Lupas’ portraits were drawn from life, during portrait sittings. This stunning charcoal drawing was drawn from life (Kennedy posed for him while President), and captures the vitality and charisma that made President John F. Kennedy one of America’s most inspiring Presidents. Lupas’ pastel strokes are bold, vigorous, and direct; they create a powerful portrait of JFK. Lupas died in 1985. This is a print of an original work. The estimated age of this print is from the mid 1960’s. It is in overall good shape with the exception of some flaws along the edges where the plastic covering has been a little torn. Please reference the photos to assess the quality of each item.
