Hello, up for sale is an IBM Thinkpad 600e. This unit is for parts or repair. It is sold AS IS, no returns. I used this laptop as an old dedicated Windows 2000 machine for several years. A couple years ago I put it into storage and it has been sitting there until recently. When I pulled it out I discovered the display had degraded and now smells like vinegar (See Photos). I know this is a common issue with old laptops. I lost the power adapter so I was not able to re-test this computer. When I stored it, it was still working just fine, but since it has been sitting for awhile I can not guarantee that it will still work. It is not in the best of shape cosmetically (See Photos). I know it has a Pentium 2 processor and 128mb of RAM. This unit does not come with a hard drive, but the caddy is included. The hard drive door has broken in two (See Photos) but could possibly be repaired using either plastic welding of some sort of epoxy. The laptop is also missing it’s battery. The RAM door has been spray painted black at one point in its life as well (See Photos). Again, this laptop is sold AS IS. Please be aware of this when purchasing.
