This classical model Hohner guitar was built during the mid-1990s. It may have been made in Indonesia but I am not certain. The solid sitka spruce top is stunning and contributes to its wonderful tone. The rosewood fretboard and bridge add to its aesthetics, with the back, neck and sides a bright mahogany. The sound board is supported by fan bracing using 7 braces and some smaller braces at oblique angles. The craftsmanship shown in the bracing is impressive (see photos and ask for more). Other than a few small dots of discoloration around the bottom-side strap button (not nicks, not scratches, and possibly under the finish), there are a few barely visible scratches in a small area on the middle of the back and a few small dinks below the bridge on the top. The last 2 photos show these areas but not the back scratches because those aren’t showing up in photos (very light scratches). The neck is well-shaped and thin — a pleasure to move around on.
