Han Kisuk (Robert Han Nong) born 1930, Seoul. Title: “Fish No. 3”. Signed: “Nong” lower center, inscribed “fish, No. 3 verso. Medium: Oil on Canvas, possibly polyester-based colors. Size: 22 x 30 inches, ( 23 x 31 inches framed ). Condition: Excellent condition. This delightful, highly colorful, painting was probably painted during 1970’s during the height of this artists career. At this time he had a gallery on Union Square in San Francisco where he specialized in decorative abstractions, symmetrical forms often adorned with abstract accents. His work was exhibited in the Fine arts Museums of San Francisco “Asian-American-Modern Art”, in 2008. His biography may be found in Thomas Albright’s “Art In The San Francisco Bay Area.
