The camera mounts onto the cage using a single 1/4″-20 screw. Multiple 1/4″-20 mounting holes and anti-twist 1/4″-20 female mounts allows for attachments of a variety of accessories. The ergonomically designed aluminum top handgrip attaches to the NATO rail connection on top of the cage frame for for capturing low-angle shots. You can attach a NATO compatible side handle (available separately) to the NATO rail connection on the left of the half cage.There are shoe mounts on top of the cage frame, and top handle, offering additional mounting points for shotgun microphones, wireless receivers and more. The cage features paddings on the base to prevent metal-to-metal contact, integrated strap slots as well, allowing you to add a neck or wrist strap (separately available). The bottom of the cage also offers 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 mounting holes for attaching your camera to different quick release plates or a tripod.
