Early Gorham sterling pattern, “Corinthian”, place setting fork. The pattern was introduced in 1872. This is a vintage, pre-owned piece in excellent condition showing no damage. The back side of the handle is monogrammed with what I think is an elaborate, decorative “S”. The tines are in excellent shape and the rest of the surfaces show only light and minor usage contact marks, especially so for the age of the piece. The fork measures 7 1/4″ in length. The Gorham marks are on the back of the handle. Would work fine for single mixed pattern use or a nice addition to a set of an older, more difficult to find pattern.
