This kit offers more control over how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator coil. The valves only allow a certain amount of liquid into the coil to make sure that all liquid that enters completely evaporates. This allows for the prevention of too little liquid from entering the evaporator which would make the system run less efficiently. It also stops too much liquid from entering the evaporator which can cause excess in the lines. Thermostatic Expansion Valves are provide multi-position mounting on the evaporator coil inlet and are consistent, efficient and virtually hassle-free.
