Here we have, a beautiful, Fenton, golden ebony, Acanthus, carnival glass chop plate. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Still has the original Fenton sticker and shop price sticker on the back. The original price was $77.50. It is marked on the base with the Fenton F in the oval, which shows that it was another manufacturer’s pattern. In this case it was Imperials, Acanthus pattern. They purchased the mold when Imperial went out of business. This is a chop plate. It measures 1 1/4″ high, 11″ wide, and has a 3 1/2″ base. Beautiful iridescence over the black base glass. Lots of gold, and lavender hues, and amber also. If you like contemporary carnival glass, here is a nice piece! Great for a collection, and one that will stand out. Nice eye candy!!!
