This is a component guitar made by purchasing each part of a fender Stratocaster. Made by fender usa. Manufacture date unknown. Purchased for 66,000 yen. I heard that the previous owner had it customized at a guitar shop, but I think it’s probably the counterbore in the neck pocket. Other than that, we don’t know. I think it is in relatively good condition with no noticeable scratches or cracks. For parts such as the bridge, I used the ones from Fender Japan (made in 1987) mentioned below, and if the size did not match, I purchased them from Sound House. The pickup is Rindy Fralin’s Blues Special (purchased for 37,500 yen). Pickguard, pickup up cover, knobs, etc. were purchased at Sound House. The wiring is diverted from Fender Japan (manufactured in 1987) mentioned below. Diverted from a Fender JAPN purchased at a music store. The neck date is January 20, 1987, and there is a B stamp, which is proof that it was an intermediate model at the time. It seems to be in the E serial period. It’s a great neck that plays very well, but there are a few things that could be modified. Replaced the pegs with GOTOH ones. Are the frets medium jumbo frets? It has been replaced with a Phillips nut. I think this modification is actually a plus in terms of sound. It has also been oil refinished and the fender decals have been replaced accordingly.
