I WILL BE LISTING MANY GERMAN ITEMS AND WHATEVER ELSE I CAN FIND IN THE COMING YEAR!** Here is a really cute vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge style (but from Italy) Christmas or anytime small sized ornament. This depicts a little hand painted Santa Claus or St. Nick in a hot air balloon with presents or gifts. He is holding a snow flocked bottle brush sisal tree, and most of the white flocking is gone. “Italy” is stamped on one of the presents (extremely faint), and it looks very similar to ones in my collection with Feri Italy labels on them. The ornament is in very good condition with little to no paint loss, color rubs, crazing, and manufacture imperfections in the wood and painted finish. Santa has a manufacture hole on the top of his hat. This ornament is about 3 1/4″ long/tall from the top of the hot air balloon to the bottom of the basket. Age unknown-I would guess the 1970’s.
