He is a graduate of the Professional Academy of Fine Arts El Alba in Holguin, Cuba and currently lives in New Jersey, United States. To date, he has done several solo and group shows. His works appear in several private collections, institutions and corporations throughout the United States and also transcended the borders to countries like Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Peru, Italy, France and Spain. In Enrique’s words: “Light is very present in my works, not only natural light but also light through colors. Applying pure colors or with few mixtures is also for me a way to illuminate the canvas. Color is an active element of my works and to which I dedicate a lot of attention; especially through the use of complementary colors. My object of representation are the landscape, floral elements and nature in general which give me what I need: color and rhythm.” Enrique has also published several books. Infinite Line, Pen and Ink Sketch Collection and Acrylic Landscapes, are his most recent publications.
