English Georgian Silver Teaspoon by William Bateman I, London, c.1817 Collectible teaspoon in Old English shape made by William Bateman I (registered 1814-1839). The London hallmark is clear and with profile of George III, Lion Passant, date letter ‘b’ and maker’s ‘W.B’. The spoon is monogramed with a B. This spoon is in exceptionally good condition. Measurements (approximate): Length: 12.2 cm, 4.8”; Weight: 11.7gm, 0.41 oz. I strive to fully and accurately describe the items I list.
