The heater is controlled in both voltage and current requirements so that it can be used for parallel or series heater chains. It appears to be a miniature replacement for the EC52 low power VHF oscillator valve. The side view shows the simple folded anode with the round cavity for the other electrodes at one end. The anode is treated to improve its efficiency at radiating away the heat generated. The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall. Weight ~ 11 g.
