That being said I don’t think I’m going to be getting it off anytime soon, it was very hard to get in , had to use a hammer and give it a few wacks to get it seated, but it works great for my trijicon rmr and have shot about 100 rounds and it still standing strong. Just follow the instructions. Great dovetail mount for RMR red dot. Went smoothly. Update received two more. One was complete. The other one didn?t come with tools and the set screws looked used. I like having extra tools to put in range bags. Called Amazon over this. Didn?t care for the options they gave me. However It will work. These kits are nice if you get all the parts. All in all they do work well. Take your time on the install. For Glocks you can put sights in from the left or Wright. But other pistols have a certain direction for removal and install. It needed to be filed on the flat part only and after about 15 minutes of doing this they slid right in, tight as a factory fit. This is an excellent well manufactured item that proved to be well worth not having to send the rail in for a machinist to cut into the top of your rail possibly weakening it as well. Some of competitors plates the screws will strip out or pull out the threading and it won’t hold securely. I’ve never had an issue with dpp. The plates dirty strong and fits perfectly. I’m not sure if I’ll like a pistol red dot and I’m not sure I want to have my slide milled.This plate installed easily, but you will need a plastic faced mallet or sight pusher. It is a tight fit in the dovetail. It took a good bit of whacks to get it in place. I suggest finding the center of your slide and making a small crayon mark on the back. Find the center of the plate and make a crayon mark. Set the plate using the marks to center the plate.The supplied screws mated up perfectly and my holosun mated perfectly to the plate. I used a torque screw driver and used 15 inch/lb on the set screws and per manufacturers instructions, on the screws mounting my holosun to the plate. If the weather holds, I’ll go to the range to zero today. As for holsters, both the factory Glock sport combat and Fobus paddle holsters work with optic installed.
