Each item is individually made just for you at the time of purchase. Please allow us to 5 business days for production. This does not include shipping time which can take up to 5 days depending on your location. Care Instructions: General Cleaning: NEVER place your cutting board/serving tray in the dishwasher. ALWAYS hand wash (and soak if necessary) coasters in warm, soapy water.Periodically wipe your boards with food safe oil before use. Food safe oils are products like mineral oil (butcher block oil, which we sell!), coconut oil (must be refractionated!), tung oil, linseed oil, etc. These types of oils will not go rancid, which would lead to some unpleasant smells coming from your housewares. Don’t use olive oil, avocado oil, motor oil, etc!Lacquer: If scratches, or other blemishes from normal are seen on the finished surface, gently wiping the surface with a lint free cloth dampened with lacquer thinner may be enough to remove surface scratches and other light blemishes. If deeper damage is observed, sanding the surface with a fine sanding sponge and spraying a light coat of clear coat lacquer is all that is required for refinishing.Additional Terms and Conditions:Due to the nature of the slate material, edge and surface finish will vary from piece to piece.
