Connex 4400hp, Malaysian made model with Bi-Polar finals Radio transmits and receives great . Excellent loud audio. Has a digital S-Meter kit , and has recently had a proper tune and alignment. Some caps and other internal components were also replaced at the same time to help ensure the radio will work well for a long time. All work done by a reputable shop who services all of my other equipment. All functions work well, no issues. New aux speaker jack and new echo board. NB switch was removed to allow a spot for the momentary switch that controls the S meter. NB is now switched on all of the time. Quick press of momentary switch changes display screen on meter, longer press (about 1 second) changes dimmer of screen. Long press (approx 3-5 seconds) will invert black and white in display. S meter does not fill total meter window in front bezel, there is a small black section that does not illuminate. (Shown in photos) Cases, bezel and faceplate show some signs of wear, but overall cosmetic condition is good, please see photos. Absolutely no returns, due to golden screwdrivers and parts swapper, and also people who don’t understand how SWR works.
