COMMIPHORA SINPLICIFOLIA, you are buying one plant same size and shape of the one in first and second pictures (4to 6 inches tall), , all other pictures are for reference from my mother plants, please keep in mind this plant will spend part of the year in dormant ( drop the leaves to sleep), out of the growing season this plant will be shipped with a healthy trunk with not leaves or only a few on the tip. Commiphora is a valuable plant for colletors and gardeners around the world for it’s appearance and easy to grow, they grow a nice peppery bark trunk and is easy to keep in containers. The myrrh genus, Commiphora , is the most species rich genus of flowering plants in the frankincense and myrrh family, Burseraceae. The genus contains approximately 190 species of shrubs and trees, which are distributed throughout the (sub-) tropical regions of Africa, the western Indian Ocean islands, the ArabiaN Peninsula, India, Vietnam, and South America. The genus is drought-tolerant and common throughout the xerophytic scrub, seasonally dry tropical forests, and woodlands of these regions. The common name myrrh refers to several species of the genus, from which aromatic resins are derived for various fragrance and medicinal uses by humans. Plant is shown in a 6″ pot for size reference, will ship bare root .VERY IMPORTANT: please be advised that maybe the plant will loose some leaf or even all before you receive it or after plant it, is totally normal and will get new leaf as soon as it adapt to the new environment, this commiphora spend most of the year leafless, only grow a few months, here is some information on my store to get idea why is normal….please click here http://stores.ebay.com/EXOTIC-CACTUS-COLLECTION/Why-some-plants-loose-its-leafs.html
