Personally Signed: “Howard – best wishes! George”. Of this first edition of Volume II, 500 copies have been signed by the author and numbered. This is copy 158. Signed “George A. Hoyem”. 303 pages including Appendix, Bibliography, and Index. Illustrations. 8⅞”x11¼”x1”. Hard cover in a textured, leather look material with gold lettering; dust jacket with contents listed on back cover. Hard cover in very good or better physical condition. The dust jacket has a one inch slit on the lower spine edge and some very small ruffles or waves on the top and bottom edges. It also a bit yellowed which I do not feel is the original color. The owner’s stamp is impressed on the lower edge of the blank page signed by the author. I found penciled notes by the owner on pages 39, 40, 41, 42, and 255. I found no other markings in the book but cannot guarantee this to be the case. All other pages clean and all are intact.
