COLOR INTEGRITY We are proud to offer a line of glass beads in which 95% of them are pure “colored glass”. Manufacturers achieve certain colors and/or effects by “coating” a clear glass bead. We do carry about 2% of these “coated” beads. However, all are top quality. DARKER COLORS A “Garnet color” bead has an inherent characteristic of turning almost black when stored without air or light. After shipping, exposure in a “regular” household environment will return them to their true color. This characteristic might apply to other dark colors but consistent in the deep reds.
