This c1930 cast iron dog on a plank paper clip was manufactured by the Bradley and Hubbard Company. It features a black and white dog seated on what is made to look like a wooden plank. The plank is attached to a grassy like cast iron base. Underneath the dog is a large spring which allows the pieces to function like a paper clip. Underneath the base can be seen cast model number 5220. The paper clip could be hung on the wall as there is a hole that could accommodate a nail or hook. It is 5 5/8″ long, 2 5/16″ at the widest part of the base and 3 1/2″ high. The paint is 95+ percent with the only loss being to the top of the dogs ears and around its mouth.
