Here I have listed Bocking 14 Comfrey Root Cuttings of various sizes. These are roots I rescued as I prepared my pots for winter storage. Roots may be any unique shape! Pictured is only an example of the sizes you will receive. Please choose the size you prefer. I do not use any non-organic sprays or fertilizers on my plant. I am not certified organic. But organic is my goal of operation! Bocking 14 does not spread by seed as most comfrey does. Consequently it is not invasive! However if you disturb the roots it will spread by root. My advice is, plant it where you want it and don’t mess with the roots unless you want it too spread at it’s own will! Comfrey has a very deep root system. Consequently it brings up nutrients from far below. It is a very hardy perennial herb plant. USES FOR COMFREY: Some use comfrey for salves and such. It makes excellent garden plant fertilizer! It grows fast. When it is ready to bloom or blooming you can cut it down and use the large leaves as mulch around your plants or you can use the leaves to make a tea for your plants or just add the leaves to your compost pile. Pollinators love the flowers!
