This listing is for the specific specimen of Blue Alps Juniper (Juniperus Squamata’Blue Alps’) shown in the photo, grown in 4” pot. Blue Alps Juniper is a large growing evergreen shrub with an upright vase shaped habit. Matures to 8 feet tall and wide Awl type foliage provides a two toned blue on green color. Develops flaky, scaly bark with age. Note some taxonomists now put this cultivar in the Juniperus chinensis species but I am remaining with older taxonomy based on morphological features. Easy to grow. Hardy USDA zones 4 through 9. Prefers good drainage and full sun. Very drought resistant once established.
