This bulldog features a diamond shank with a saddle stem. Britain’s best Briars is known for having the oldest trademark in the pipe industry. They have be en making good quality pipes since 1856. I would date this pipe post-1980 due to the stem not having a metal inlay in the stem. It came from an estate sale in D en mark where BBB has be en the most popular for ei gn brand for 50 years. The stem is in perfect condition, and the stummel is in great condition with only some light rim dark en ing. The top of the rim has not be en altered, but it is slightly unev en from the factory. All pipes restored by Danish Estates are sanitized as a first and last step. The chamber of the pipe is reamed down to the briar. The pipe undergoes a treatm en t to remove pot en tial ghosting. Th en necessary re pa irs and restoration are completed. A final coat of natural wax gives the pipe a shine and protective coating.
