This is an arched topped Victorian/Edwardian Mahogany bracket/mantel clock with box wood stringing and a stepped base with brass bracket feet. The 8 Day movement is stamped W and H SCH for Winterhalter and Hofmeier and the clock has a 2 gong ting-tang strike. It ting-tangs on each quarter and then on the hour it strikes singly. 45 cms high and weighs 5.8 kilos.
