Ballistic Knife Assembly Instructions Prepare the Sling Cord: Start by knotting one end of the sling cord securely to ensure it won’t slip. Thread the Cord Through the Loop: Slide the non-knotted end of the sling cord through the closed loop on the handle. Remove the Push Button (Optional Step): For easier assembly, you can remove the push button temporarily. This will allow you to pull the sling cord down more easily. Pull the Sling Cord and Loop it Back: Pull the non-knotted end of the sling cord downward, then loop it back out the top of the handle. Knot the Other End: Knot the other end of the cord securely to ensure it won’t slide back through the loop. Insert the Cord into the Slotted Hole: Place the knotted end of the sling cord into the slotted hole located on the opposite side of the handle. Adjust the Tension: You can now adjust the tension of the sling cord. The tension will determine the distance the knife will shoot when activated. Reattach the Push Button: Once the sling cord is securely in place and the tension is adjusted, replace the push button back into its original position on the handle. Secure the Push Button: Use the provided pins to secure the push button in place. After securing it, cut the pins flush with the grip to prevent any sharp edges. Knife Latch Mechanism: The knife will now latch onto the push button once it is inserted correctly. This ensures that the knife remains in position. Install the Safety Pin: Insert the safety pin into its designated slot. This pin locks the knife in position and prevents it from firing accidentally. The knife will not shoot until the safety pin is removed.
