Very rare original ‘square magnet’ woofer removed from an Advent Loudspeaker (NLA) produced in approx. 1977 (original owner knew the exact year purchased as he was married that same year!). But woofer fits many other Advents from around that time and prior, namely 4002, 5002, 5012, but likely others. This is a very rare pre-Jensen takeover speaker, and has a much better, warmer sound than the post Jensen ’round magnet’ woofers. Don’t buy one of those ‘OEM’ replacements from SimplySpeakers, they are NOT comparable, not made in the USA, sound is inferior, and I think if Advent were still in business they would have something to say about suggesting they are OEM replacements. Woofer tested with a 30Hz test tone, and multi meter. It is in very excellent working condition. DCR = 4.8. Obviously needs re-foaming.
