A working AOR AR8600 Communications Receiver is on offer. The receiver is used with a normal amount of scratches, dirt and wear. The display shows two internal black marks that don’t affect the operation of the unit or the user’s ability to see what the receiver is doing. The unit functions (see testing description). The keys and knob behave normally. Two of the front rubber feet (near the bail) are missing. We tested the following frequencies and modulation formats. The signal generator power was set to -70 dBm and we listened for the appropriate output on the internal speaker. . Commercial FM radio band with WFM . National Weather service at 162.45 MHz and 162.55 MHz, NFM . 1.1 MHz, -70 dBm, AM . 15 MHz, -70 dBm, AM . 150 MHz, -70 dBm, AM, NFM, WFM . 600 MHz, -70 dBm, AM, NFM, WFM . 1000 MHz, -70 dBm, AM, NFM, WFM I am unable to test higher than 1 GHz. At 12VDC, the unit draws 240 mA. I have not tested the serial port, the IF output port and any of the other IO on the rear of the receiver. The AOR AR8600 Communications Receiver, shown in the photos, is the only item included in this listing. The photos were taken on a 1 cm grid. Returns accepted only when the serial number matches the original item purchased.
