This is a reproduction clearing rod for the .303 caliber Long Lee Enfield rifle or Martini Enfield MkII rifle which was carefully copied from an original. These were made obsolete about 1900 and then destroyed, so very few originals now exist. Exactly 17.2″ long with a 3/16″ diameter shaft, the head has four longitudinal grooves and an internal threaded hole at the front to enable another rod to be attached to allow clearing of the bore. The rear part of the rod is also threaded using the correct Enfield 26 TPI thread to secure it to the rifle. Freight costs can be combined for multiple purchases.
