Incomparable fall and winter color, the beautiful evergreen foliage has a variegated red and green. Wonderful greenery for floral arrangements. ‘Winterglow’ or ‘Winterglut’ is an improved cultivar of the popular ‘Rotblum’. Very useful foliage all year round. Thick flowering clusters of red flowers wrapped like a hyacinth toward the top of the stem. Intolerant of excessive heat. Early spring flowering. Germination Instructions: Easy to sprout and grow – Sow seeds in cell packs or flats, press into soil but do not cover. Needs light to germinate. Kept at 70-75°F., germination is uneven over a period of 3-6 weeks. Transplant into the garden 18 in. apart.
