TranSynd 668 provides oxidative stability, anti-wear performance, and friction durability, as well as TES 668 specification differentiators such as extended anti-shudder durability and extended clutch friction durability. This fluid features an Allison TES 668 approval. The TES 668 spec is fully backwards compatible for TES 295® applications, but is not backwards compatible for TES 468 applications. When servicing the Allison 1000 or Allison 2000 transmission on your GM vehicle, don?t forget about the external filter. This Allison Spin-On Filter is the correct OEM replacement for Allison 1000 and Allison 2000 transmissions. To keep your transmission healthy, Rudy’s recommends replacing the spin-on filter every 12,000 miles. When changing this filter, ensure that you clean and reuse the filter magnet that is sandwiched between the filter and the transmission.
