TranSynd 668 provides oxidative stability, anti-wear performance, and friction durability, as well as TES 668™ specification differentiators such as extended anti-shudder durability and extended clutch friction durability. This fluid features an Allison TES 668 approval. The TES 668 spec is fully backwards compatible for TES 295® applications, but is not backwards compatible for TES 468™ applications. When servicing the Allison 1000 or Allison 2000 transmission on your GM vehicle, don’t forget about the external filter. This Allison Spin-On Filter is the correct OEM replacement for Allison 1000 and Allison 2000 transmissions. To keep your transmission healthy, Rudy’s recommends replacing the spin-on filter every 12,000 miles. When changing this filter, ensure that you clean and reuse the filter magnet that is sandwiched between the filter and the transmission.
