Eberhard Faber, 34, has been elected President and Chief Executive Officer of the 122-year-old Eberhard Faber, Inc., International manufacturer of writing instruments and stationery sundries. Mr. Faber, the first member of his family to hold daily operating control of the Wilkes Barre, Pa., company in 26 years, succeeds Eric Q. Bohlin who held the position since 1964. Mr. Bohlin will become Vice Chairman of the Board and Director of Foreign Operations. The original Eberhard Faber, a German refugee of the Revolution of 1848, founded the company in New York City in 1849.Photo measures 8 x 9.75 inches. Photo is dated 06-10-1971.
