A child dated the book on the verso of the front endpaper, 1957. Front flap lists Hardy Boys books to the The Secret of Pirates’ Hill. Four pages at the back of the book introduce boys to the Rick Brant Adventure Series with a picture of Spindrift Island and descriptions and line drawings of the first four books in the series. This is the 10th book in the Hardy Boys series. ”FRANK and Joe Hardy receive an unusual assignment from their detective father. The cover is very clean with only slight wear at the edges. On the blank side of the front endpaper, a child has scrawled his name, address and date (1957) with a crayon. The interior is otherwise excellent with no other marks, underlining, tears or odor. The paper is very clean and shows almost no age toning. The hinges and binding are excellent with no loose or missing pages. The dustjacket is complete and shows light rubbing at the edges and corners.
