This picture collage salutes that first Athletics team that played in Kansas City after leaving Philadelphia before leaving Oakland. The team was led by solid players like Gus Zernial, Vic Power and Elmer Valo. The collage features a copies of baseball cards from the era that depict 17 of the players. Card images are 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ or about one fourth the size of a real card. This is a great collectible for any baseball fan. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage. I then design each picture individually and lay out the design on the mat. Finally, I cut each mat based on that design and assemble the collage. Shipping and Handling is free for the United States.
