I have for sale a 1933 medal issued for the dedication for the start of the Santa Monica Breakwater, located in Santa Monica, California. The medal is aluminum, it is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition. This medal was struck by the Los Angeles Rubber Stamp company. This medal is listed in the So Called Dollar catalog as HK 687. The obverse shows aerial view of breakwater, pier and yacht basin. It reads around the rim SOUVENIR BREAKWATER 1933 – SANTA MONICA,CALIF. The reverse shows a female on the beach with amusement park in the background and under the female it reads OCEAN PARK.
