Excellent quality and condition devotional scene of Saint Anthony of Padua, patron saint of the poor, sailors and travellers. Circa 1650 depiction of a young Saint Anthony, after joining the Franciscans at the age of 19, gazing heavenward. Presented in a good gilt frame. Ex-Christies stencil verso.
